Bio

Lynear Thinking first came to life in 1996 when I was asked to share a blue sky vision about the kind of company that I wanted to work for.

I presented vision that I called "Lynear Thinking" to a room full of executives. I was wearing leather pants, and as my presentation began to roll, the song "It's my Life", by Bon Jovi blasted. I told them about a place where CEO meant creative, entrepreneurial and optimistic; Where there was no "no", only how;   Where the visionary could come from any where, not just the corner office; Where inspiration - from the Latin word "Inspirare", which means to inhale - is what breathes life into this place, its employees and its community. I didn't get fired that day, but then again I never thought I would. I would have 20 years as a successful, award winning corporate planner, writer, and leader helping leaders up the hill of vision.

This year I am celebrating my 11th year of business in the entrepreneural world.  Here's a summary of where I've been and what I've been doing since stepping into the entrepreneurial life.

  • In 2011, I officially launched Lynear Thinking, which is the manitfestation of my blue sky vision, with a purpose of helping leaders shape, transform and lead futures.I set a guiding intention that would create the path that we would walk together: "I would publish stories that are read world-wide about interesting and inspiring people who live and work in their passion. I would be an instigator of personal freedom.  I would inspire people to accept and live in their own vision, and be inspirational to others to do the same.  I would publish the book that changes the way we look at work. I would inspire a revolution of living in colour. I would paint the sky all the colours of possibility."

  • In 2012, I followed my love of story telling into the magazine publishing business as publisher and owner of SKY Magazine, which was dedicated to telling "our story" as entrepreneurs.

  • In 2016, I followed my feet into the world of retail, transforming a 30+ year old shoe store named ZÖE, which means life, through a reinvented brick and mortar, online store, and COVID19.

  • In 2020, my life took a new turn into health care in the world of data transformation during COVID19.

My client list includes credit unions, non profits, government, post secondary, health care and independents.

I am convinced there is nothing I can't imagine and learn as long as I continue to be rooted in the principles and values of the blue sky story that became Lynear Thinking.
